Why You'll Want This Job $62-$66 per hour 54-hour week (Mon-Sat) - plenty of hours Ongoing, long-term project pipeline Local role - home every night Temp-to-perm opportunities with a major employer Weekly pay Free onsite parking & modern facilities Stable workshop - no weather delays, no shutdown cancellations What You'll Be Doing Heavy fabrication & boilermaker duties Structural welding on large-scale steel modules Interpreting and working from engineering drawings Utilise all hand tools and forming machines to perform required functions Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG. Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards Follow quality control systems and techniques Maintain correct and accurate MARK numbers on steel components Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape, and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards What You Need Australian Trade Certificate - Boilermaker/Welder EWP, FL, Working Safely At Heights Required Strong fabrication & structural welding experience Previous construction experience Ability to read and interpret drawings Commitment to safety & teamwork If you're an experienced Boilermaker looking for big hours, great pay and long-term local work , we want to hear from you.
